THE RIVER
The River Nile flows past the end of our street with the Public Ferry just a few minutes walk away. So, you can easily access the historic sites of the East Bank across the River.
Or if you prefer, you can hire a boat for a relaxing time floating past the farms and banana plantations on the river banks and the fisher men casting their nets on the water.

THE LIVING MUSEUM CITY
Luxor is home to many historic treasures on both sides of the Nile.
On the East Bank there is the great Karnak Temple joined to its sister Luxor Temple by the Avenue of the Sphinxes plus the Mummification and Luxor museums.
The West Bank is home to the tombs of the pharaohs including that of the famous Tutankhamen and the temples and monuments they built.
See some of the old crafts that still survive such as the carving of alabaster, the making and painting of papyrus and weaving.
